This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to write. This is not your normal weekly Monday Muster, guys. Please bear with me.
You are all a part of my life and have known my story, including my service dog Kharma. Kharma passed away this week. Unexpectedly. I knew I needed to share this with all of you.
He was my best friend and companion for 7 years.
He traveled with me to every event, sat at my feet on every stage, and helped me heal from wounds nobody could see.
I’m not writing this just to share my grief. I’m writing this because I want to use it to teach you guys a very important lesson about living greatly.
We don’t stop living when we lose someone we love, whether it’s a service dog or a person. Awareness. Preparation. Action. Overcome. These aren’t just words I say. They’re what I’m living right now.
Get off the X and live greatly.
Kharma, I love you. Rest easy, buddy. You will be missed.
Thank you all for your support and your kind words this past weekend. It means more than you know.
