Jason Redman’s Media Room
Lieutenant Jason Redman is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL, New York Times bestselling author, and sought-after keynote speaker specializing in elite performance, mission-driven leadership, and overcoming adversity.
During his 21-year career (1992-2013), Redman spent 11 years as an enlisted SEAL and 10 years as a SEAL officer. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Valor, Purple Heart, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and two Combat Action Ribbons, among other honors.
In 2007, after surviving a near-fatal ambush in Iraq, he authored the now-famous “Sign on the Door” during recovery at Bethesda Naval Hospital, which garnered widespread national attention. He endured nearly 40 surgeries and returned to duty before retiring in 2013.
Redman is the author of multiple bestsellers, including “The Trident,” “Overcome,” and the “Pointman Planner.” As founder of SOF Spoken and co-founder of Eagle Rise Speakers Network and other initiatives, he delivers transformational leadership programs nationwide, helping individuals and organizations conquer adversity and achieve elite performance.
He lives with his wife and children in southeastern Virginia.
