Jason Redman’s Monday Muster to start your week off right & crush those goals!
Be a Somebody.
This week we talk about being somebody.
Last week, while in Dallas, I met a few individuals in the elevator who were asking about my No Bad Days shirt and skull. I told them who I was and how it is my mission in this life to be a light in the darkness, a force of positivity in a world of negativity.
I then asked them who they were and the group leader said,…
“I am a nobody.”
My brain immediately reacted to that statement.
I said, “That’s not true. Everyone is a somebody. This life is about what you do with your somebody.”
And THAT led to today’s Monday Muster. It is a choice in this life to be a nobody.
The problem with most people is they think too big when it comes to being a somebody.
They think somebodies are CEOs, or actors, or professional athletes or influencers. So, if I am not one of them, I don’t feel important. I am a NOBODY. But that is ABSOLUTELY not true.
Your life matters and being you is what makes you special. You are somebody.
- Somebody is a father.
- A brother.
- A mother.
- A friend.
- A boss.
- A co-worker.
A somebody is someone who makes a positive impact on a fellow human being.
It takes three things to be a somebody:
Be present in the moment.
Be intentional about engaging with people.
Set goals and accomplish them to make an impact.
